FALL 2022 Schedule: Updated October 11, 2022
PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS:
Parent & Tot = skaters of any age who are brand new to skating (minimum 3 years of age required
*2 year olds welcome only if they will be turning 3 within the first 4 weeks of the session). This session is for those skaters who are unable to stand up/skate forward unassisted. Parents must also register with Skate Canada and wear a helmet.
Canskate A = skaters (ages 3-5) working on Canskate Badges 1-3
MUST BE EITHER A RETURNING TBSA MEMBER WHO HAS ACHIEVED THE PRE-CAN RIBBON OR HIGHER OR BE ABLE TO STAND UP/SKATE FORWARD UNASSISTED
Canskate B = skaters (ages 6 & up) working on Canskate Badges 1-3
MUST BE EITHER A RETURNING TBSA MEMBER WHO HAS ACHIEVED THE PRE-CAN RIBBON OR HIGHER OR BE ABLE TO STAND UP/SKATE FORWARD UNASSISTED
Canskate C = skaters (all ages) working on Canskate Badges 4-6
Rising Stars = skaters (all ages) working on Canskate Badges 4-6 (interested in progressing into Figure Skating - STARskate)
Beginner Hockey Fundamentals A (U7) = skaters 5-6 years old
MUST BE EITHER A RETURNING TBSA MEMBER WHO HAS ACHIEVED THE PRE-CAN RIBBON OR HIGHER OR BE ABLE TO STAND UP/SKATE FORWARD UNASSISTED (interested in progressing into Hockey/Ringette)
Advanced Hockey Fundamentals B (U9) = who have achieved at least a Stage 3 Canskate badge (interested in progressing into Hockey/Ringette)
Advanced Hockey Fundamentals C (U13) = who have achieved at least a Stage 3 Canskate badge (interested in progressing into Hockey/Ringette)
Pre-Canskate = Skaters of any age who are brand new to skating (minimum 3 years of age required) & who do not have a Parent/Guardian able to assist them. This session is for those skaters who are unable to stand up/skate forward unassisted.
