PLEASE NOTE: Registration will be open Wednesday, October 7 at 9:00 am. All programs are limited to 25 participants. Please do not delay in order to get your preferred spot.
2020 PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS:
Parent & Tot = Skaters of any age who are brand new to skating. Skater must be minimum 3 years of age or turning 3 within the first 4 weeks of the session. This session is for those skaters who are unable to stand up/skate forward unassisted. Parents (or designate Parent) must register with Skate Canada and wear skates and a helmet.
Pre-Canskate = DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OFFER THIS PROGRAM. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
Canskate A/B = Skaters (all ages) working on Canskate Badges 1-3
Skaters must be either a returning TBSA members who has achieved their Pre-CanSkate ribbon or Higher OR must be able to stand up/move forward unassisted.
Canskate C = Skaters (all ages) working on Canskate Badges 4-6
Rising Stars = Skaters (all ages) working on Canskate Badges 4-6 and interested in progressing into Figure Skating (STARSkate)
Hockey Fundamentals A = Skaters 5-6 years old
Skaters must be either a returning TBSA members who has achieved their Pre-CanSkate ribbon or Higher OR must be able to stand up/move forward unassisted.
Hockey Fundamentals B = Skaters 7-8 years old (Novice) OR who have achieved at least a Stage 3 Canskate badge (interested in progressing into Hockey/Ringette)
Hockey Fundamentals C = Skaters 9-12 years old (Atom/PeeWee) or who have achieved at least a Stage 3 Canskate badge (interested in progressing into Hockey/Ringette)
Teen & Adult Beginner = This program is designed for Teens (13+) or Adults (18+) who are new to skating or who want to improve their skills. Lessons are taught in group format with a professional NCCP certified coach.
Adult Active for Life = Skater must be a former figure skater who has achieved at least a STAR 4 / Junior Bronze Freeskate test
